     Dorothy Kate Brand was born in 1888 at Chiswick, Surrey, England.1 She was the daughter of James Deane Brand and Kate Chard.1 She married, firstly, Guy St. Barbe Watkins before 1922.2 She married, secondly, Charles John Brinsley Butler, 7th Earl of Lanesborough, son of Captain John Vansittart Danvers Butler, 6th Earl of Lanesborough and Anne Elizabeth Clark, on 27 June 1922 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.1 She died on 6 October 1935 at Paddington, London, England.2
     From before 1922, her married name became Watkins.2 From 27 June 1922, her married name became Butler.1 After her marriage, Dorothy Kate Brand was styled as Countess of Lanesborough on 27 June 1922.
