He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Doneraile, of Doneraile, co. Cork [I., 1785] on 8 November 1819.3 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Doneraile, of Doneraile, co. Cork [I., 1776] on 8 November 1819.3 He gained the rank of Colonel in the South Cork Militia.3 He held the office of Representative Peer [Ireland].3

Sir Henry Fairfax, 1st Bt.1 
He served in the 95th Rifle Brigade between 1804 and 1844.2 He fought in the Peninsula War between 1812 and 1813.2 He was created 1st Baronet Fairfax, of the Holmes, co. Roxburgh [U.K.] on 14 March 1836, in consideration of his father’s naval services.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1841 in the 85th Light Infantry.2
