He was given the name of Henry John Alexander Scott-Makdougall at birth.1 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1930 in the 60th Rifles, King’s Royal Rifle Corps.1 On 2 April 1935 his name was legally changed to Henry John Alexander Makdougall Scott.1 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 2 April 1935.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Selkirkshire.1

Kent [G.B., 1792] on 13 February 1909.1 He was educated at Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918, where he was wounded.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Grenadier Guards.2 He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1945.2
