Penelope Ann O’Neill were divorced in 1983.² He married, secondly, Veronica Susan Scott, daughter of Lt.-Col. Eric Surtees Scott and Rose Anne Stewart, on 1 June 1994.¹
     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England^G.² He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1992.² He lived in 2003 at Wadmill Farm, Stour Row, Shaftesbury, Dorset, England^G.²

     John Robin Ambrose Devas was born on 26 May 1947.¹ He is the son of Group Captain William George Devas and Monica Mary Cecil Kerr.¹ He married Rachel Geraldine Tuck, daughter of Captain Gerald Seymour Tuck, on 5 September 1970.¹

     Christopher Bartle Hugh Scott, 12th of Gala was born on 3 October 1924.¹ He was the son of Philip Beaumont Frere and Jean Winifred Mary Makdougall Scott-Makdougall.² He married Anne Margaret D’Arcy Kerr, daughter of Henry Francis Hobart Kerr and Gertrude Mary Anthony, on 16 September 1948.¹ He died on 13 April 1997 at age 72.¹
     He was given the name of Christopher Bartle Hugh Frere at birth.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ In 1941 his name was legally changed to Christopher Bartle Hugh Scott.¹ He graduated from King’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1948 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was awarded the Knight of Honour and Devotion, Sovereign Military Order of Malta on 27 November 1957.¹

     Philip Beaumont Frere was born on 11 July 1897.² He was the son of Eustace Corrie Frere and Marion Edith Grant.^2,3 He married, firstly, Jean Winifred Mary Makdougall Scott-Makdougall, daughter of Hugh James Elibank Scott-Makdougall of Makerstoun and Agnes Jenkinson, on 29 April 1922.¹ He and Jean Winifred Mary Makdougall Scott-Makdougall were divorced in July 1943.¹ He married, secondly, Victoria Mary Enid Ann Dugdale, daughter of Colonel Frank Dugdale and Lady Eva Sarah Louise Greville, in 1944. He died on 6 December 1981 at age 84.¹
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was senior partner of Frere Cholmeley.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Institute of British Architects (F.R.I.B.A.)¹ He lived at The Charterhouse, London, England^G.¹

     Jean Winifred Mary Makdougall Scott-Makdougall was born on 5 February 1897.¹ She was the daughter of Hugh James Elibank Scott-Makdougall of Makerstoun and Agnes Jenkinson.² She married Philip Beaumont Frere, son of Eustace Corrie Frere and Marion Edith Grant, on 29 April 1922.¹ She and Philip Beaumont Frere were divorced in July 1943.¹ She died on 11 May 1990 at age 93.¹
     From 29 April 1922, her married name became Frere.

     Hugh James Elibank Scott-Makdougall of Makerstoun was born on 1 October 1861.¹ He was the son of Hugh Scott, 9th of Gala and Elizabeth Isabella Johnstone-Gordon.² He married Agnes Jenkinson, daughter of Henry Jenkinson, on 5 February 1893.¹ He died on 4 May 1934 at age 72.¹
     He was given the name of Hugh James Elibank Scott at birth.¹ He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Haddington Artillery Militia.¹ He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1888 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ His name was legally changed to Hugh James Elibank Scott of Makerstoun.¹ In 1890 his name was legally changed to Hugh James Elibank Scott-Makdougall of Makerstoun on succeeding to Makerstoun from his first cousin twice removed.¹

     Penelope Agnes Marion Frere was born on 25 June 1926.² She is the daughter of Philip Beaumont Frere and Jean Winifred Mary Makdougall Scott-Makdougall.³ She married Thomas Ronald Garnett on 21 December 1946.²
     She was also known as Penelope Marion Agnes Frere.² From 21 December 1946, her married name became Garnett. She lived in 2003 at 7 McGrath Street, Castlemaine, Victoria, Australia^G.²

     Eustace Corrie Frere was born on 22 August 1863.¹ He was the son of George Frere and Margaret Anne Corrie.¹ He married Marion Edith Grant on 25 April 1895.¹ He died on 1 October 1943 at age 80.¹

     John Philip Henry Schomberg Scott, 13th of Gala was born on 20 June 1952.¹ He is the son of Christopher Bartle Hugh Scott, 12th of Gala and Anne Margaret D’Arcy Kerr.² He married Jacqueline Dawn Rae, daughter of Colin George Champion Rae, on 6 December 1977.¹
