     Arthur Wontner was born in 1869 at Brixton, Surrey, England^G.¹ He was the son of John Wontner and Frances Coward.¹ He died in 1869 at Brixton, Surrey, England^G, in infancy.¹

     Margaret Susanna Skrine was born on 4 June 1883 at Brooklands, Uppingham, Rutland, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend John Huntley Skrine and Mary Jessie Hammond Tooke.¹ She died on 4 December 1907 at age 24 at The Rectory, Itchen Stoke, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Inez Elizabeth Skrine was born on 4 June 1883 at Brooklands, Uppingham, Rutland, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend John Huntley Skrine and Mary Jessie Hammond Tooke.¹ She married Ernest William Ainley-Walker, son of William Henry Walker and Louisa Shepherd Taylor, in 1919 at Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² She died on 10 June 1956 at age 73 at Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹
     From 1919, her married name became Ainley-Walker.²

     John Scales was born in June 1749 at Colton, Lancashire, England^G.¹ He was also reported to have been born at Thwaitehead, Lancashire, England^G.¹ He was baptised on 23 August 1720 at Colton, Lancashire, England^G.² He was the son of Robert Scales and Catherine Kilner.³ He married, firstly, Mary Christian, daughter of Reverend Thomas Christian and Elizabeth Monkhouse, on 23 February 1773.⁴ He married Mary Christian, daughter of Reverend Thomas Christian and Elizabeth Monkhouse, on 23 February 1773 at Crosthwaite, Cumberland, England^G.² He married, secondly, Agnes Chamney, daughter of John Chamney and Alice Gawith, after July 1774 at Colton, Lancashire, England^G.⁵ He died at Thwaitehead, Lancashire, England^G.¹ He died circa March 1791.³ He died in 1832.³ He was buried on 19 March 1791 at Rusland Churchyard, Colton, Lancashire, England^G.³ His will (dated his wife, Agnes Scales) was proven (by probate) on 23 April 1791.³

     William Hudson Heaven was born in 1799.¹ He was the son of Thomas Heaven and Maria Halliday.¹ He married Cecilia Jane Grosett in 1825.¹ He died in 1883.¹
     In 1836 he purchased Lundy Island, in the Bristol Channel. It stayed in the family until 1917.¹

     Elizabeth Denny married Rowland Scales, son of Rawlandus Scales and Bridget Greenupp, on 28 April 1722 in a Colton, Lancashire, England marriage.¹
