Ulysses Burgh, 2nd Baron Downes of Aghanville 
He was given the name of Ulysses Burgh at birth.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Carlow between 1818 and 1826.1 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to Kings George IV and William IV between 1825 and 1837.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Queensborough between 1826 and 1830.1 He gained the title of 2nd Baron Downes of Aghanville on 2 March 1826. He held the office of Representative Peer [Ireland] between 1833 and 1863.1 In 1848 his name was legally changed to Ulysses de Burgh.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) in 1860.1 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Tower and Sword of Portugal (K.T.S.)2 In 1865 On his death, his title became extinct.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.3

Lady Margaret Hay1

Lady Margaret Hay was born in 1657. She was the daughter of John Hay, 1st Marquess of Tweeddale and Lady Jane Scott.1 She married Robert Ker, 3rd Earl of Roxburghe, son of William Ker, 2nd Earl of Roxburghe and Jean Ker, on 10 October 1675.1 She died on 22 January 1753.1
After her marriage, Lady Margaret Hay was styled as Countess of Roxburghe on 10 October 1675. From 10 October 1675, her married name became Ker.

[Scotland] in 1680.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Roxburghshire in 1680.1 He held the office of Sheriff Principal of Selkirk in 1681.1
