     Philip Aston was born on 3 August 1709 at St. Gile’s-in-the-Fields, London, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Walter Aston and Penelope Whitfield.1 He died on 29 April 1755 at age 45, unmarried.1 He was buried on 1 May 1755 at St. George the Martyr, Bloomsbury, London, EnglandG.1
     He was a Roman Catholic priest.1 He was styled as Lord Aston of Forfar between 1752 and 1755, however his claim to this title fails as he is the descendant of the 4th son of the 1st Lord’s grandfather, while other descendants of the second son survived (probably unknown to Philip.)1
