     Archibald Edmonstone, 10th of Duntreath was the son of Archibald Edmonstone, 9th of Duntreath and Anna Helena Scott.^2,3 He married, firstly, Hon. Anne Erskine, daughter of David Erskine, 2nd Lord Cardross, on 22 April 1713 at Strathblane, Stirlingshire, Scotland.^1,3 He married, secondly, Anne Campbell, daughter of Hon. John Campbell and Elizabeth Elphinstone, on 4 October 1716 at Old Kilpatrick, Dunbartonshire, Scotland^G.⁴ He died in 1768.³
     He lived at Red Hall, County Antrim, Ireland^G.¹

     Hon. Anne Erskine was born on 9 December 1692.² She was the daughter of David Erskine, 2nd Lord Cardross.¹ She married Archibald Edmonstone, 10th of Duntreath, son of Archibald Edmonstone, 9th of Duntreath and Anna Helena Scott, on 22 April 1713 at Strathblane, Stirlingshire, Scotland.^1,2 She died before 22 September 1716.²
     From 22 April 1713, her married name became Edmonstone.

     Sir Archibald Edmonstone of Duntreath, 1st Bt. was born on 10 October 1717 at Old Kilpatrick, Silver Bouks, Dunbartonshire, Scotland^G.² He was the son of Archibald Edmonstone, 10th of Duntreath and Anne Campbell.^3,2 He married, secondly, Hester Heathcote, daughter of Sir John Heathcote, 2nd Bt. and Bridget White.¹ He married Susanna Mary Harenc, daughter of Roger Harenc and Susanna Hays, in October 1753.² He died in July 1807 at age 89.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dumbartonshire and Ayr and Irvine between 1761 and 1795.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Edmonstone, of Duntreath [Great Britain] on 20 May 1774.¹

     Roger Harenc was born in 1693 at Paris, France^G.² He was the son of Roger Harene and Maria Magdalena Harene.² He died on 10 June 1763.²
     He was also known as Roger Harene.²

     Susanna Mary Harenc was born in 1720 at England.² She was the daughter of Roger Harenc and Susanna Hays.^3,2 She married Sir Archibald Edmonstone of Duntreath, 1st Bt., son of Archibald Edmonstone, 10th of Duntreath and Anne Campbell, in October 1753.² She died on 4 April 1776 at St. Marylebone, London, England^G.²
     From October 1753, her married name became Edmonstone.

     Sir Charles Edmonstone of Duntreath, 2nd Bt. was born on 10 October 1764.¹ He was the son of Sir Archibald Edmonstone of Duntreath, 1st Bt. and Susanna Mary Harenc.² He married Emma Wilbraham-Bootle, daughter of Richard Wilbraham-Bootle and Mary Bootle, on 1 June 1794.² He married, secondly, Hon. Louisa Hotham, daughter of Beaumont Hotham, 2nd Baron Hotham of South Dalton and Susannah Hankey, on 5 December 1804.¹ He died on 1 April 1821 at age 56 at Brighton, Sussex, England^G.^3,4
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Edmonstone, of Duntreath [G.B., 1774] in July 1807.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Stirlingshire between 1812 and 1821.¹

     Neil Benjamin Edmonstone was born in 1765.¹ He was the son of Sir Archibald Edmonstone of Duntreath, 1st Bt. and Susanna Mary Harenc.² He married Charlotte Anne Friell, daughter of Philip Friell, in 1803.¹ He died in 1841.¹
     He was Director of the Honourable East India Company.² He was in the Honourable East India Company Service at India^G.¹

     Charlotte Anne Friell is the daughter of Philip Friell.² She married Neil Benjamin Edmonstone, son of Sir Archibald Edmonstone of Duntreath, 1st Bt. and Susanna Mary Harenc, in 1803.¹
     From 1803, her married name became Edmonstone.

     William Archibald Edmonstone was the son of Neil Benjamin Edmonstone and Charlotte Anne Friell.² He died, unmarried.¹
