     Robert Eden was born on 13 May 1800.¹ He was the son of Thomas Eden and Mariana Jones.² He married Frances Warburton, daughter of Reverend Rowland Egerton Warburton, on 21 April 1829.¹ He died on 23 April 1879 at age 78.¹
