     He graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1879 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Canon of Canterbury.¹ He held the office of Archdeacon of Canterbury.¹ He held the office of Bishop Suffragen of Dover between 1890 and 1897.¹ He graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1891 with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)¹ He held the office of Bishop of Wakefield between 1897 and 1928.¹

     John Rodney Eden was born on 4 July 1892.¹ He was the son of Rt. Rev. George Rodney Eden and Constance Margaret Ellison.^2,1 He married May Poynton, daughter of Thomas Taylor Poynton, on 28 August 1928.¹ He and May Poynton were divorced in 1946.¹ He died on 7 March 1963 at age 70.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Captain in the Service Battalion, South Wales Borderers.¹ He was Assistant Manager, Sena Sugar Estates Ltd.¹

     Thomas Taylor Poynton lived at Durban, Natal, South Africa^G.¹

     May Poynton is the daughter of Thomas Taylor Poynton.² She married John Rodney Eden, son of Rt. Rev. George Rodney Eden and Constance Margaret Ellison, on 28 August 1928.¹ She and John Rodney Eden were divorced in 1946.¹
     From 28 August 1928, her married name became Eden.

     S/Ldr. Gerald Balfour Eden was born on 12 August 1896.¹ He was the son of Rt. Rev. George Rodney Eden and Constance Margaret Ellison.^2,1 He was baptised on 11 September 1896 at Christ Church Cathedral, Canterbury, Kent, England.³ He married Phyllis Anne Macy, daughter of Major Thomas Yarnold Macy, on 1 August 1929.¹ He died in 1970.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps.¹ He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force.¹

     Major Thomas Yarnold Macy gained the rank of Major in the Indian Army.¹

     Phyllis Anne Macy was the daughter of Major Thomas Yarnold Macy.² She married S/Ldr. Gerald Balfour Eden, son of Rt. Rev. George Rodney Eden and Constance Margaret Ellison, on 1 August 1929.¹ She died in 1977.¹
     From 1 August 1929, her married name became Eden.

     John Hamilton Rodney Eden was born on 26 September 1939.¹ He was the son of S/Ldr. Gerald Balfour Eden and Phyllis Anne Macy.² He married Sandra Anne Toms, daughter of Dennis Rowland Toms, on 29 August 1964.¹ He died in 1992.¹
     He was educated at Nautical College, Pangbourne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Sergeant Air Quartermaster in the Royal Air Force.¹

     Dennis Rowland Toms lived at Westbury, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Sandra Anne Toms is the daughter of Dennis Rowland Toms.² She married John Hamilton Rodney Eden, son of S/Ldr. Gerald Balfour Eden and Phyllis Anne Macy, on 29 August 1964.¹
