Mary Anne Eden1

     Mary Anne Eden was born in October 1785.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Eden and Mariana Jones.1 She married, firstly, John Spalding on 19 December 1807.2 She married, secondly, Henry Brougham, 1st Baron Brougham and Vaux, son of Henry Brougham and Eleanor Syme, on 1 April 1819 at Coldwaltham, Sussex, EnglandG.1 She died on 12 January 1865 at age 79 at Brighton, Sussex, EnglandG.1
     She was also known as Marianne Eden.2 From 19 December 1807, her married name became Spalding.1 From 1 April 1819, her married name became Brougham.1 After her marriage, Mary Anne Eden was styled as Baroness Brougham and Vaux on 22 November 1830.

Thomas Eden1

     Thomas Eden was the son of Sir Robert Eden, 3rd Bt. and Mary Davison.1,2 He married Mariana Jones, daughter of Arthur Jones, on 7 July 1783.3 He died on 1 May 1805.3
     He was Deputy-Auditor of Greenwich Hospital.3 He lived at Wimbledon, Surrey, EnglandG.1

     Mariana Jones was the daughter of Arthur Jones.1 She married Thomas Eden, son of Sir Robert Eden, 3rd Bt. and Mary Davison, on 7 July 1783.2
     From 7 July 1783, her married name became Eden.
