Sir George Stucley, 1st Bt.1 
He was given the name of George Stucley Buck at birth.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Barnstaple between 1855 and 1859.2 He was Colonel Commandant of the Devonshire Artillery.2 On 27 July 1858 his name was legally changed to George Stucley by Royal Licence.2 He was created 1st Baronet Stucley, of Affeton Castle, co. Devon [U.K.] on 26 April 1859.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Devon.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Devon in 1863.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Barnstaple between 1865 and 1868.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.2
