     Lt. Hon. William Alexander Montgomerie was born on 29 October 1881.¹ He was the son of George Arnulph Montgomerie, 15th Earl of Eglinton and Janet Lucretia Cuninghame.¹ He died on 9 May 1903 at age 21, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 2nd Dragoons (Scots Greys.)¹

     Hon. Francis Cuninghame Montgomerie was born on 25 January 1887.¹ He was the son of George Arnulph Montgomerie, 15th Earl of Eglinton and Janet Lucretia Cuninghame.¹ He married Alice Dudley Arthur, daughter of Thomas Glen Arthur and Elizabeth Winthrop Coats, on 4 August 1910.¹ He died on 16 March 1950 at age 63.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Battalion, King’s Own Scottish Borderers.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Life Guards.¹

     Alice Dudley Arthur was the daughter of Thomas Glen Arthur and Elizabeth Winthrop Coats.^1,2 She married Hon. Francis Cuninghame Montgomerie, son of George Arnulph Montgomerie, 15th Earl of Eglinton and Janet Lucretia Cuninghame, on 4 August 1910.¹ She died on 24 November 1951, as a result of a car accident.¹
     From 4 August 1910, her married name became Montgomerie.

     Thomas Glen Arthur was born on 13 December 1857.¹ He was the son of James Arthur of Carlung and Jane Glen.¹ He married Elizabeth Winthrop Coats, daughter of Sir James Coats, 1st Bt. and Sarah Ann Auchincloss, on 26 September 1888.² He died on 2 February 1907 at age 49.²
     He was awarded the Chevalier, Legion of Honour.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Ayrshire.¹ He lived at Barshaw, Renfrewshire, Scotland^G.²

     Henry Hugh Arnulph Montgomerie was born on 11 June 1911.¹ He was the son of Hon. Francis Cuninghame Montgomerie and Alice Dudley Arthur.¹ He died on 16 May 1947 at age 35, as a result of an accident, unmarried.¹

     Captain Thomas Montgomerie was born on 14 March 1914.¹ He was the son of Hon. Francis Cuninghame Montgomerie and Alice Dudley Arthur.¹ He died on 18 August 1942 at age 28 at North Africa^G, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Black Watch.¹

     Lady Georgiana Theresa Montgomerie was the daughter of George Arnulph Montgomerie, 15th Earl of Eglinton and Janet Lucretia Cuninghame.¹ She married Lt.-Col. William Mure of Caldwell, son of Lt.-Col. William Mure of Caldwell and Hon. Constance Elizabeth Wyndham, on 25 April 1895.¹ She died on 21 August 1938.¹
     Her married name became Mure.

     Lt.-Col. William Mure of Caldwell was the son of Lt.-Col. William Mure of Caldwell and Hon. Constance Elizabeth Wyndham.² He married Lady Georgiana Theresa Montgomerie, daughter of George Arnulph Montgomerie, 15th Earl of Eglinton and Janet Lucretia Cuninghame, on 25 April 1895.¹ He died on 14 June 1912.¹
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Caldwell, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Lady Edith Mary Montgomerie was the daughter of George Arnulph Montgomerie, 15th Earl of Eglinton and Janet Lucretia Cuninghame.¹ She married Colonel Algernon Richard Trotter, 12th of Mortonhall and 3rd of Charterhall, son of Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Trotter, 11th of Mortonhall and 2nd of Charterhall and Hon. Eva Gifford, on 22 July 1901.² She died on 8 September 1947.²
     Her married name became Trotter.

     Colonel Lord Thomas Cecil was born on 1 January 1797.² He was the son of Henry Cecil, 1st Marquess of Exeter and Sarah Hoggins.² He married Lady Sophia Georgiana Lennox, daughter of General Charles Lennox, 4th Duke of Richmond and Lady Charlotte Gordon, on 7 August 1838.¹ He died on 29 November 1873 at age 76, without issue.²
