Chester [G.B., 1762] on 15 December 1898.1 He was with the Diplomatic Service in 1908.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Derbyshire Yeomanry.1
