     Anne Hamilton was the daughter of Claud Hamilton and Anne Hamilton.^1,2 She married, firstly, Sir Francis Hamilton, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Charles Hamilton, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Sempill, on 26 March 1695.² She married, secondly, Captain Hon. Archibald Hamilton, son of William Douglas-Hamilton, 1st Earl of Selkirk and Anne Hamilton, 3rd Duchess of Hamilton, on 17 December 1718.¹ She died on 29 March 1719, without issue.¹ She was buried on 4 April 1719 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England^G.^1,3

     Claud Hamilton was the son of Sir Claud Hamilton.²

     Sir Francis Hamilton, 3rd Bt. was born before 1679.² He was the son of Sir Charles Hamilton, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Sempill.² He married, firstly, Catherine Montgomery, daughter of Hugh Montgomery, 1st Earl of Mount Alexander and Hon. Catherine Jones, circa 1685.² He married, secondly, Anne Hamilton, daughter of Claud Hamilton and Anne Hamilton, on 26 March 1695.² He died on 4 February 1713/14 without surviving issue.² He was buried on 9 February 1713/14.² His will (dated 19 Jan 1713/14) was proven (by probate) on 24 February 1717/18, in Prerogative Court [Ireland].³
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Hamilton, of Castle Hamilton, co. Cavan [S., 1628] before 1689.² In 1689 he was attainted by the Parliament of King James II.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Cavan [Ireland] in 1692/93.² He held the office of Sheriff of County Donegal in 1694.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Cavan [Ireland] between 1695 and 1699.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Cavan [Ireland] between 1703 and 1713.²
     On his death, his Baronetcy became dormant.²

     Charles Hamilton was born between 1720 and 1728.¹ He was the son of Captain Hon. Archibald Hamilton and Lady Jane Hamilton.¹ He married Mary Catherine Dufresne, daughter of Colonel unknown Dufresne.¹ He died on 10 September 1751.¹

     Mary Catherine Dufresne was the daughter of Colonel unknown Dufresne.¹ She married Charles Hamilton, son of Captain Hon. Archibald Hamilton and Lady Jane Hamilton.¹

     Rachael Daniel married Reverend Frederick Hamilton, son of Captain Hon. Archibald Hamilton and Lady Jane Hamilton, on 11 June 1757.¹
     From 11 June 1757, her married name became Hamilton.

     Elizabeth Hamilton was the daughter of Reverend Frederick Hamilton and Rachael Daniel.¹ She married John Stratford, 3rd Earl of Aldborough, son of John Stratford, 1st Earl of Aldborough and Martha O’Neale, in April 1777.¹ She died in May 1811 at Bath, Somerset, England^G.^1,2,3
     From April 1777, her married name became Stratford. After her marriage, Elizabeth Hamilton was styled as Countess of Aldborough on 2 January 1801.

     John Stratford, 3rd Earl of Aldborough was born between 1742 and 1745. He was the son of John Stratford, 1st Earl of Aldborough and Martha O’Neale.² He married Elizabeth Hamilton, daughter of Reverend Frederick Hamilton and Rachael Daniel, in April 1777.¹ He died on 7 March 1823 at Belan, County Kildare, Ireland^G, without male issue.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Baltinglass between 1763 and 1776.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Wicklow between 1776 and 1790.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Baltinglass between 1790 and 1800.² He held the office of a Governor of County Wicklow in 1795.² He gained the title of 3rd Earl of Aldborough, of the Palatinate of Upper Ormond [I., 1777] on 2 January 1801.² He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Amiens [I., 1777] on 2 January 1801. He succeeded as the 3rd Baron of Baltinglass, co. Wicklow [I., 1763] on 2 January 1801. He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Aldborough, of Belan, co. Kildare [I., 1776] on 2 January 1801.

     Archibald Hamilton was born circa 1729.¹ He was the son of Captain Hon. Archibald Hamilton and Lady Jane Hamilton.¹ He died on 30 May 1744, accidentally drowned.¹
