Rev. Canon Arthur Townshend Boscawen was born on 9 July 1862.2 He was the son of Rev. Hon. John Townshend Boscawen and Mary Tremayne.2 He married Christian Anna E. Chapell Hodge, daughter of Chapell William Hodge and Jane Eliza Buller, on 2 September 1902.2 He died on 17 July 1939 at age 77.2
He gained the rank of Temporary Chaplain to the Forces in 1917 in the 1st Battalion, Cornwall Volunteers Regiment.2 He was the Rector at Ludgvan, Cornwall, EnglandG.2 He held the office of Hon. Canon of Truro Cathedral.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2
