Hon. William Hugh Littleton was born on 26 July 1882.1 He was the son of Edward George Percy Littleton, 3rd Baron Hatherton and Charlotte Louisa Rowley.2 He married Lilian Davis, daughter of Charles Davis, on 20 April 1920.1 He died on 21 April 1956 at age 73.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 3rd Battalion, North Staffordshire Regiment.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Staffordshire.1
