     Rev. Hon. John Fortescue was born on 5 May 1796.¹ He was the son of Hugh Fortescue, 1st Earl Fortescue and Hester Grenville.² He married Sophia Nevile, daughter of Reverend Henry William Nevile and Amelia Mann, on 13 April 1842.¹
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was the Rector at Poltimore, Devon, England^G.¹ He held the office of Canon of Worcester.¹

     Reverend Gerard Nevile is the son of Reverend Henry William Nevile and Amelia Mann. He married Rosamond Blakiston, daughter of Sir Matthew Blakiston, 3rd Bt. and Lucy Mann.

     Sophia Nevile was the daughter of Reverend Henry William Nevile and Amelia Mann.² She married Rev. Hon. John Fortescue, son of Hugh Fortescue, 1st Earl Fortescue and Hester Grenville, on 13 April 1842.¹ She died on 29 December 1868.¹
     From 13 April 1842, her married name became Fortescue.

     Hester Emily Fortescue was the daughter of Rev. Hon. John Fortescue and Sophia Nevile.² She married Venerable Albert Eden Seymour, son of Reverend Richard Seymour and Frances Smith, on 14 October 1873.¹ She died on 17 July 1913.¹
     From 14 October 1873, her married name became Seymour.

     Venerable Albert Eden Seymour was born on 3 October 1841.² He was the son of Reverend Richard Seymour and Frances Smith.² He married Hester Emily Fortescue, daughter of Rev. Hon. John Fortescue and Sophia Nevile, on 14 October 1873.¹ He died on 24 December 1908 at age 67.²
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was the Vicar at Ilfracombe, Devon, England^G.² He was Prebendary of Exeter.² He was the Provost at King’s College, Taunton, Somerset, England^G.² He held the office of Archdeacon of Barnstaple.²

     Sophia Elizabeth Fortescue was the daughter of Rev. Hon. John Fortescue and Sophia Nevile.² She married Reverend Leigh Thomas Rendell on 9 January 1877.¹ She died on 8 October 1911.¹
     From 9 January 1877, her married name became Rendell.

     Reverend Leigh Thomas Rendell married Sophia Elizabeth Fortescue, daughter of Rev. Hon. John Fortescue and Sophia Nevile, on 9 January 1877.¹
     He was the Rector at Timsbury, Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Elizabeth Barrow was the daughter of Charles Barrow and Elizabeth Harris.¹ She died, unmarried.¹

     Mary Crawley is the daughter of Thomas Crawley and Elizabeth (?)¹

     Lady Catherine Fortescue was born on 30 August 1786.² She was the daughter of Hugh Fortescue, 1st Earl Fortescue and Hester Grenville.³ She married Newton Fellowes, 4th Earl of Portsmouth, son of John Wallop, 2nd Earl of Portsmouth and Urania Fellowes, on 24 June 1820.¹ She died on 17 April 1854 at age 67.¹
     From 24 June 1820, her married name became Fellowes.¹ After her marriage, Lady Catherine Fortescue was styled as Countess of Portsmouth on 14 July 1853.
