     Sir Francis Blakiston, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir Ralph Blakiston, 1st Bt. and Margaret Fenwick.¹ He married Anne Bowes, daughter of Sir George Bowes.¹ He died on 8 October 1713, without male issue.¹ He was buried on 11 October 1713 at Whickham, County Durham, England^G.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Blakiston, of Gibside, in the Bishopric of Durham [E., 1642] circa February 1692.¹
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.¹

     Anne Bowes was the daughter of Sir George Bowes.¹ She married Sir Francis Blakiston, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Ralph Blakiston, 1st Bt. and Margaret Fenwick.¹ She died circa January 1700/1.¹ She was buried on 26 January 1700/1 at Whickham, County Durham, England^G.¹
     Her married name became Blakiston.¹

     Sir George Bowes lived at Bradley, County Durham, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Blakiston was the daughter of Sir Francis Blakiston, 3rd Bt. and Anne Bowes.¹ She married Sir William Bowes in August 1693.¹ She died in 1736.²
     From August 1693, her married name became Bowes.¹

     Sir William Bowes was baptised in 1657.² He married Elizabeth Blakiston, daughter of Sir Francis Blakiston, 3rd Bt. and Anne Bowes, in August 1693.¹ He died in 1707.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)³ He lived at Gibside, County Durham, England.⁴ He lived at Streatham Castle, County Durham, England^G.¹ He was appointed Knight.

     Bridget Seymour is the daughter of Sir Edward Seymour, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Champernowne.¹ She married John Bruen.¹
     Her married name became Bruen.¹

     John Rochfort was born in 1735.² He was the son of John Rochfort and Deborah Staunton.² He married Dorothea Burgh, daughter of Thomas Burgh and Anne Downes, on 25 February 1760.³ He died in December 1812.²
     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Carlow in 1758.² He lived at Cloghrenane, County Carlow, Ireland^G.¹

     Dorothea Burgh was the daughter of Thomas Burgh and Anne Downes.^1,2 She married John Rochfort, son of John Rochfort and Deborah Staunton, on 25 February 1760.³
     From 25 February 1760, her married name became Rochfort.

     Thomas Burgh was the son of William Burgh and Margaret Parnell.² He married Anne Downes, daughter of Rt. Rev. Dive Downes and Catherine Fitzgerald, in 1731.³ He died after 15 November 1754.³
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lanesborough.³ He lived at Bert, County Kildare, Ireland^G.¹ His last will was dated 15 November 1754.³

     Sir Matthew Blakiston, 3rd Bt. was born on 13 May 1783 at Athlone, Ireland^G.¹ He was the son of Sir Matthew Blakiston, 2nd Bt. and Anne Rochfort.¹ He married Lucy Mann, daughter of James Mann and Lucy Mann, on 12 April 1810.¹ He died on 23 December 1862 at age 79 at Sandybrook Hall, Ashbourne, Derbyshire, England^G.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Blakiston, of London [G.B., 1763] on 20 September 1806.¹ He lived at Sandybrook Hall, Ashbourne, Derbyshire, England^G.¹
