     She was with Queen Alexandra’s Royal Naval Nursing Service.¹ She was registered as a State Registered Nurse (S.R.N.)¹

     Joyce Eleanor Seymour was born on 1 July 1918.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Albert Seymour and Gwendolen Emily Gascoigne.² She died on 22 January 2013 at age 94.³
     She lived in 2003 at Flat 52 Lombard Court, Lombard Street, Portsmouth, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Very Rev. Algernon Giles Seymour was born on 1 September 1886.¹ He was the son of Venerable Albert Eden Seymour and Hester Emily Fortescue.² He married Ida Grace Hammick, daughter of Vice-Admiral Robert Frederick Hammick and Grace Caroline Longman, on 21 July 1921.¹ He died on 22 October 1933 at age 47.¹
     He graduated from Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Chaplain between 1915 and 1920 in the Royal Navy.¹ He was the Provost between 1927 and 1933 at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Vice-Admiral Robert Frederick Hammick was born on 23 October 1843.² He was the son of Rev. Sir St. Vincent Love Hammick, 2nd Bt. and Mary Alexander.² He married Grace Caroline Longman, daughter of William Longman, in 1884.² He died in December 1922 at age 79.²

     Ida Grace Hammick was the daughter of Vice-Admiral Robert Frederick Hammick and Grace Caroline Longman.² She married Very Rev. Algernon Giles Seymour, son of Venerable Albert Eden Seymour and Hester Emily Fortescue, on 21 July 1921.¹ She died in 1971.²
     From 21 July 1921, her married name became Seymour.

     Maurice Robert Giles Seymour was born on 19 May 1922.¹ He was the son of Very Rev. Algernon Giles Seymour and Ida Grace Hammick.² He died on 27 February 1932 at age 9.¹

     Christopher Hugh Seymour was born on 31 March 1926.¹ He was the son of Very Rev. Algernon Giles Seymour and Ida Grace Hammick.² He died on 6 December 1951 at age 25.¹

     Lt.-Cdr. Timothy Maurice Barnabas Seymour was born on 16 June 1932.¹ He was the son of Very Rev. Algernon Giles Seymour and Ida Grace Hammick.² He married Monica Westall, daughter of Rt. Rev. Wilfrid Arthur Edmund Westall, on 7 June 1954.¹ He died on 8 February 1975 at age 42.¹
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹

     Rt. Rev. Wilfrid Arthur Edmund Westall held the office of Suffragan Bishop of Crediton.¹ He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹

     Monica Westall is the daughter of Rt. Rev. Wilfrid Arthur Edmund Westall.² She married Lt.-Cdr. Timothy Maurice Barnabas Seymour, son of Very Rev. Algernon Giles Seymour and Ida Grace Hammick, on 7 June 1954.¹
     From 7 June 1954, her married name became Seymour. She lived in 2003 at 5 Tarleton Gardens, London, England^G.¹
