Captain Sir John Forbes-Drummond, 1st Bt.1 
He was given the name of John Forbes at birth.1 In 1786 his name was legally changed to John Forbes-Drummond.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He was created 1st Baronet Forbes-Drummond, of Hawthornden, Midlothian [U.K.] on 27 February 1828, with a special remainder to his son-in-law, Francis Walker.1
