Sir Horatio Mann, 2nd Bt. was born on 2 February 1744 at Linton, Kent, England.2 He was the son of Galfridus Mann and Sarah Gregory.3,4 He married Lady Lucy Noel, daughter of Baptist Noel, 4th Earl of Gainsborough and Elizabeth Chapman, on 13 April 1765 at Exton, Rutland, England.5,4 He died on 2 April 1814 at age 70 at Margate, Kent, England.2
He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Mann, of Linton, Kent. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Maidstone between 1774 and 1784.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sandwich between 1790 and 1807.2
