     Lady Helen Christina Joanna Douglas was born on 26 April 1909.¹ She was the daughter of Sholto Charles Douglas, Lord Aberdour and Minnie Christina Brenda Hay.¹ She married Major Hubert Trench Crane, son of Hubert William Crane and Grace Eulalia St. George Trench, on 16 October 1934.¹ She died on 2 August 1965 at age 56.¹
     Lady Helen Christina Joanna Douglas usually went by her middle name of Joanna.¹ Her married name became Crane. On 23 March 1937 she was granted the rank of an earl’s daughter.¹

     Major Hubert Trench Crane is the son of Hubert William Crane and Grace Eulalia St. George Trench.¹ He married Lady Helen Christina Joanna Douglas, daughter of Sholto Charles Douglas, Lord Aberdour and Minnie Christina Brenda Hay, on 16 October 1934.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Norfolk regiment.¹

     Hubert William Crane married Grace Eulalia St. George Trench, daughter of Charles O’Hara Trench and Elizabeth Olivia St. George, in 1902.² He died before 1963.

     Thomas William Douglas was born on 10 January 1924.¹ He was the son of Hon. Charles William Sholto Douglas and Alice Agnes Fox-Pitt.¹ He died on 12 December 1943 at age 19 at Italy, killed in action.^1,2
     He gained the rank of Lance Corporal in the Black Watch and Scottish Paratroop Regiment.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Helen Alice Douglas was born on 7 October 1921.² She was the daughter of Hon. Charles William Sholto Douglas and Alice Agnes Fox-Pitt.^1,2 She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. Brian Eric Leslie Abdy Collins, son of Bernard Abdy Collins and Beryl Bishop Lynch, on 20 October 1947.¹ She married, secondly, Captain Gerald John Ponsonby, 6th Baron de Mauley of Canford, son of Hubert William Ponsonby, 5th Baron de Mauley of Canford and Elgiva Margaret Dundas, on 16 November 1954.¹ She died on 4 June 2009 at age 87.³
     From 20 October 1947, her married name became Abdy Collins. Her married name became Ponsonby. After her marriage, Helen Alice Douglas was styled as Baroness de Mauley on 13 September 1962. She lived in 2003 at Langford House, Little Faringdon, Lechlade, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. Brian Eric Leslie Abdy Collins was born on 29 May 1913.² He was the son of Bernard Abdy Collins and Beryl Bishop Lynch.³ He married Helen Alice Douglas, daughter of Hon. Charles William Sholto Douglas and Alice Agnes Fox-Pitt, on 20 October 1947.¹ He died on 22 December 1952 at age 39.⁴
     He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Engineers.⁴

     Bernard Abdy Collins was born on 17 February 1880.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. Henry Abdy Collins and Florence Ellen Cartwright.^2,3 He married Beryl Bishop Lynch, daughter of Lt.-Col. James Beverly Lynch and Eleanor Dupre Meadows.³
     He was with the Indian Civil Servcie.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.)¹

     Ferdinand Baron von Lilencron married Cecilia Thornton-Wodehouse, daughter of Admiral Hon. Edward Thornton-Wodehouse and Thornvilla Diana Thornton, on 24 July 1879.²
     He lived Schleswig-Holstein.² He gained the title of Baron von Liliencron.²

     John Charles Sholto Douglas, 21st Earl of Morton was born on 19 March 1927.² He was the son of Hon. Charles William Sholto Douglas and Florence Timson.² He married Mary Sheila Gibbs, daughter of Reverend John Stanley Gibbs and Mary Rosamond McCorquodale, on 20 September 1949.^1,2 He died on 5 March 2016 at age 88.³
     He was educated at Bryanston School, Blandford, Dorset, England.² He was educated at Cranford School, England^G.² He succeeded as the 21st Earl of Morton [S., 1458] on 13 February 1976.⁴ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of West Lothian in 1982.² He was partner of Dalmahoy Estates.²

     Mary Sheila Gibbs was born on 8 March 1927.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend John Stanley Gibbs and Mary Rosamond McCorquodale.¹ She married John Charles Sholto Douglas, 21st Earl of Morton, son of Hon. Charles William Sholto Douglas and Florence Timson, on 20 September 1949.^1,3 She died on 1 May 2016 at age 89.⁴
     Her married name became Douglas. After her marriage, Mary Sheila Gibbs was styled as Countess of Morton on 13 February 1976.
