William Moncreiffe, 11th of that Ilk1 
He was the last to have the hereditary right to sit in the Scottish Parliament as a feudal Baron before the statute providing for the election of Commissioners to represent the barons.1 He was Gentleman of the King’s Chamber in 1580.1 In 1599 he sold Highland lands of Culdares and Duneaves to buy the Fife barony of Carnbee.1
