Joan Betty Ewart1 

Joan Betty Ewart was the daughter of Dr. David Ewart.1 She married, firstly, Edward Frederick Langley Russell, 2nd Baron Russell of Liverpool, son of Richard Henry Langley Russell and Mabel Suffolk Younge, on 5 July 1933.3 She and Edward Frederick Langley Russell, 2nd Baron Russell of Liverpool were divorced in 1946.3 She married, secondly, Sir George Jessel, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Charles James Jessel, 1st Bt. and Edith Goldsmid, on 7 June 1948.1 She died on 2 December 1997.1
Joan Betty Ewart usually went by her middle name of Betty.3 After her marriage, Joan Betty Ewart was styled as Baroness Russell of Liverpool on 5 July 1933. From 5 July 1933, her married name became Russell.3 From 7 June 1948, her married name became Jessel.1
