Sir George Jessel, 2nd Bt. was born on 17 May 1891.1 He was the son of Sir Charles James Jessel, 1st Bt. and Edith Goldsmid.1 He married, secondly, Muriel Gladys Chaplin, daughter of Colonel John Worthy Chaplin, V.C. and Isabel Thomson, on 1 February 1923.1 He married, secondly, Joan Betty Ewart, daughter of Dr. David Ewart, on 7 June 1948.1 He died on 18 August 1977 at age 86.1
