     Her married name became Gore.

     Captain Robert Gore was born in 1810.¹ He was the son of Colonel Hon. William John Gore and Caroline Hales.¹ He died on 4 August 1854.¹
     He held the office of Chargé d’Affaires in Uruguay.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹

     Elizabeth Anne Gore was the daughter of Colonel Hon. William John Gore and Caroline Hales.¹ She died on 21 September 1868.¹

     Emily Jane Gore was the daughter of Colonel Hon. William John Gore and Caroline Hales.¹ She died on 14 December 1899, unmarried.¹

     William Thomas Petty-FitzMaurice, Earl of Kerry was born on 30 March 1811 at Lansdowne House, Berkeley Square, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Henry Petty-FitzMaurice, 3rd Marquess of Lansdowne and Lady Louisa Emma Fox-Strangways.¹ He married Lady Augusta Lavinia Priscilla Ponsonby, daughter of John William Ponsonby, 4th Earl of Bessborough and Lady Maria Fane, on 18 March 1834 at Cavendish Square, Marylebone, London, England^G.¹ He died on 21 August 1836 at age 25 at Lansdowne House, Berkeley Square, London, England^G.¹ He was buried at High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England^G.²
     He was styled as Earl Wycombe between 1811 and 1818.¹ He was styled as Earl of Kerry between 1818 and 1836.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Calne between 1832 and 1836.¹

     John William Ponsonby, 4th Earl of Bessborough was born on 31 August 1781.¹ He was baptised on 31 August 1781 at St. Marylebone Church, Marylebone Road, Marylebone, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Frederick Ponsonby, 3rd Earl of Bessborough and Lady Henrietta Frances Spencer.¹ He married Lady Maria Fane, daughter of John Fane, 10th Earl of Westmorland and Sarah Anne Child, on 16 November 1805 at Berkeley Square, London, England^G.¹ He died on 16 May 1847 at age 65 at Dublin Castle, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, from dropsy.¹ He was buried on 22 May 1847 at Fiddown, Ireland^G.¹

     Greville writes that “no man ever quitted the world more surrounded by sympathy, approbation, respect an affection… He had a remarkably calm and unruffled temper, and very good sound sense… In his administration [of Ireland], adverse and unhappy as the times were, he displayed great industry, firmness, and knowledge of the circumstances and character of the Irish people, and he conciliated the goodwill of those to whom he had been, all his life, opposed.”¹

     John Fane, 10th Earl of Westmorland was born on 1 June 1759.¹ He was the son of John Fane, 9th Earl of Westmorland and Augusta Bertie.¹ He married, firstly, Sarah Anne Child, daughter of Robert Child, on 20 May 1782 at Gretna Green, Dumfries-shire, Scotland^G, against the wishes of her father.¹ He married, secondly, Jane Huck-Saunders, daughter of Richard Huck-Saunders and Jane Kinsey, on 24 March 1800.¹ He died on 15 December 1841 at age 82.¹
     He succeeded as the 10th Earl of Westmorland [E., 1624] on 25 April 1774.³ He succeeded as the 10th Baron Burghersh, co. Sussex [E., 1624] on 25 April 1774.³ He held the office of Joint Postmaster-General in 1789.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1789.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland between 1789 and 1795.¹ He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) in 1793.¹ He held the office of Master of teh Horse between 1795 and 1798.¹ He held the office of Lord of the Privy Seal between 1798 and 1806.¹ He held the office of Lord of the Privy Seal between 1807 and 1827.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Northamptonshire between 1828 and 1841.¹ He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.⁴
     

     Sarah Anne Child was the daughter of Robert Child.¹ She married John Fane, 10th Earl of Westmorland, son of John Fane, 9th Earl of Westmorland and Augusta Bertie, on 20 May 1782 at Gretna Green, Dumfries-shire, Scotland^G, against the wishes of her father.² She died on 9 November 1793.
     After her marriage, Sarah Anne Child was styled as Countess of Westmorland on 20 May 1782. From 20 May 1782, her married name became Fane.

     Robert Child married Sarah Jodrell, daughter of Gilbert Jodrell, before 1791.² He died before 1791.²
     He was a banker.² He lived at Osterley Park, London, England^G.¹

     Lady Maria Fane was born on 11 May 1787.¹ She was the daughter of John Fane, 10th Earl of Westmorland and Sarah Anne Child.¹ She married John William Ponsonby, 4th Earl of Bessborough, son of Frederick Ponsonby, 3rd Earl of Bessborough and Lady Henrietta Frances Spencer, on 16 November 1805 at Berkeley Square, London, England^G.¹ She died on 19 March 1834 at age 46 at Cavendish Square, Soho, London, England^G.¹ She was buried at Wimbledon, London, England^G.¹
     Her married name became Ponsonby.
