     Hon. Arthur Ernest Henry Eliot was born on 13 July 1874.¹ He was the son of Colonel Hon. Charles George Cornwallis Eliot and Constance Rhiannon Guest.¹ He married, firstly, Florence Maude Parks-Smith, daughter of Captain Charles Egerton Parks-Smith, on 23 May 1895.¹ He and Florence Maude Parks-Smith were divorced on 4 August 1902.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Marshall, daughter of M. Marshall, on 11 October 1911.¹ He married, thirdly, Mabel Louisa Atherton Paul, daughter of Edward John Dean Paul, 4th Bt. and Eliza Monckton Ramsay, on 26 April 1919.¹ He married, fourthly, Elinor Whyte Hughes Brownlee, daughter of James Andrew Brownlee, on 23 September 1933.¹ He died on 8 October 1936 at age 62.¹
     He gained the rank of Trooper in the Kitchener’s Horse.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901.¹ He gained the rank of Captain and APM in the SW District, Cape Colony.¹ He fought in the First World War in 1914.¹ On 7 March 1923 he was granted the rank of an earl’s younger son.¹

     Florence Maude Parks-Smith is the daughter of Captain Charles Egerton Parks-Smith.¹ She married Hon. Arthur Ernest Henry Eliot, son of Colonel Hon. Charles George Cornwallis Eliot and Constance Rhiannon Guest, on 23 May 1895.¹ She and Hon. Arthur Ernest Henry Eliot were divorced on 4 August 1902.¹
     Her married name became Eliot.

     Lady Blanche Elizabeth Eliot was born on 18 August 1866.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel Hon. Charles George Cornwallis Eliot and Constance Rhiannon Guest.¹ She married Stephen Ormston Eaton, son of Charles Ormston Eaton, on 27 May 1909.¹ She died on 11 September 1929 at age 63.¹
     Her married name became Eaton. On 7 March 1923 she was granted the rank of an earl’s daughter.¹

     Stephen Ormston Eaton was the son of Charles Ormston Eaton.¹ He and Mary Isabella Emma Thynne were divorced.² He married Mary Isabella Emma Thynne, daughter of Lord Edward Thynne and Cecilia Anne Mary Gore.² He married Lady Blanche Elizabeth Eliot, daughter of Colonel Hon. Charles George Cornwallis Eliot and Constance Rhiannon Guest, on 27 May 1909.¹ He died on 30 May 1911.¹
     He lived at Tolethorpe Hall, Rutland, England^G.¹

     Lady Louisa Susan Cornwallis Eliot was born on 17 December 1825.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Granville Eliot, 3rd Earl of Saint Germans and Lady Jemima Cornwallis.² She married Reverend Walter William Brabazon Ponsonby, 7th Earl of Bessborough, son of John William Ponsonby, 4th Earl of Bessborough and Lady Maria Fane, on 15 January 1850 at St. James’s, Westminster, London, England^G.² She died on 15 January 1911 at age 85 at 38 Eccleston Square, Pimlico, London, England^G, from heart failure.¹ She was buried on 20 January 1911 at Pilltown, County Kilkenny, Ireland^G.¹
     Her married name became Ponsonby. After her marriage, Lady Louisa Susan Cornwallis Eliot was styled as Countess of Bessborough on 11 March 1895.

     Reverend Walter William Brabazon Ponsonby, 7th Earl of Bessborough was born on 13 August 1821 at Roehampton, Surrey, England^G.¹ He was the son of John William Ponsonby, 4th Earl of Bessborough and Lady Maria Fane.¹ He was baptised at Putney, London, England^G.¹ He married Lady Louisa Susan Cornwallis Eliot, daughter of Edward Granville Eliot, 3rd Earl of Saint Germans and Lady Jemima Cornwallis, on 15 January 1850 at St. James’s, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ He died on 24 February 1906 at age 84 at 38 Eccleston Square, Pimlico, London, England^G.¹ He was buried on 2 March 1906 at Pilltown, County Kilkenny, Ireland^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) in May 1906, at over £1,600 gross and over £1,400.¹

     Lady Elizabeth Cavendish was born on 24 April 1723.² She was the daughter of William Cavendish, 3rd Duke of Devonshire and Catherine Hoskins.^1,3 She married Rt. Hon. John Ponsonby, son of Brabazon Ponsonby, 1st Earl of Bessborough and Sarah Margetson, on 22 September 1743.¹ She died in 1796.¹ She was also reported to have died in 1760.²
     Her married name became Ponsonby.
