     Ralph William Ernest Beckett, 3rd Baron Grimthorpe was born on 3 May 1891.³ He was the son of Ernest William Beckett, 2nd Baron Grimthorpe and Lucy Lee.⁴ He married, firstly, Mary Alice Archdale, daughter of Colonel Mervyn Henry Archdale and Mary de Bathe, on 3 September 1914.¹ He and Mary Alice Archdale were divorced in 1945.³ He married, secondly, Angela Courage, daughter of Edward Hubert Courage and Beatrice Mary Awdry, on 25 March 1945.³ He died on 22 February 1963 at age 71.¹
     He was educated in 1903 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.⁵ He was educated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.³ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.³ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Yorkshire Hussars.³ He gained the title of 3rd Baron Grimthorpe, of Grimthorpe, in the East Riding, co. York [U.K., 1886] on 9 May 1917.³ He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Beckett, of Leeds, co. Yorks and Somerby Park, Gainsboorugh, co. Lincoln [U.K., 1813] on 9 May 1917.⁴ He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force.³ He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the Yorkshire Hussars between 1936 and 1940.³ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.³ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of hte West Riding of Yorkshire.¹ He lived in 1950 at Easthorpe Hall, Malton, England^G.⁵

     Savannah Jessica Rose Leith was born on 28 September 1995 at Le Puy-en-Velay, France^G.¹ She is the daughter of Hon. Rebecca Moraigh Eveleigh Leith.¹
     She was educated at St. Margaret’s School for Girls, Exeter, Devon, England^G.¹

     Mary Cornelia Tanner was the daughter of Reverend George C. Tanner.¹ She married Henry Godfrey Perceval, son of Spencer Arthur Perceval and Marianne Dunnage, on 27 December 1882.¹ She died on 29 September 1884 at Nebraska, U.S.A.^G, murdered.¹
     From 27 December 1882, her married name became Perceval.¹

     Ellen Mary Perceval was the daughter of Henry Godfrey Perceval and Mary Cornelia Tanner.¹ She died on 29 September 1884 at Nebraska, U.S.A.^G, murdered.¹

     Mary Henrietta Perceval was the daughter of Spencer Arthur Perceval and Marianne Dunnage.¹ She married, firstly, Reverend Gilbert Vyvyan Heathcote, son of Rt. Hon. Sir William Heathcote, 5th Bt. and Hon. Caroline Frances Perceval, on 20 November 1883.¹ She married, secondly, Henry Gourlay on 25 February 1897.¹ She died on 22 November 1937.¹
     From 20 November 1883, her married name became Heathcote.¹ From 25 February 1897, her married name became Gourlay.¹

     Henry Gourlay married Mary Henrietta Perceval, daughter of Spencer Arthur Perceval and Marianne Dunnage, on 25 February 1897.¹ He died in 1915.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Kempshott Park, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Blanche Mary Mervyn Archdale was born in 1850.¹ She was the daughter of Captain Mervyn Edward Archdale and Emma Inez Goulding.¹ She married George Benjamin Thorneycroft, son of Thomas Thorneycroft and Jane Whitelaw, on 20 September 1876.¹ She died in 1944.¹
     From 20 September 1876, her married name became Thorneycroft.¹

     George Benjamin Thorneycroft was born on 25 May 1849.² He was the son of Thomas Thorneycroft and Jane Whitelaw.³ He married Blanche Mary Mervyn Archdale, daughter of Captain Mervyn Edward Archdale and Emma Inez Goulding, on 20 September 1876.¹ He died on 19 March 1924 at age 74.¹
     He lived at Dunston, Staffordshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)²

     Evelyn Jane Archdale was born in 1859 at London, England.² She was the daughter of Captain Mervyn Edward Archdale and Emma Inez Goulding.¹ She married Maj.-Gen. Rowland Broughton Mainwaring, son of Reverend Charles Henry Mainwaring and Jane Broughton, on 4 August 1880 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England, this marriage produced no children.^1,2
     From 4 August 1880, her married name became Mainwaring.¹
