Charles Standish Vereker was born on 23 February 1912.¹ He was the son of Field Marshal John Standish Surtees Prendergast Vereker, 6th Viscount Gort, V.C. and Corinna Katherine Vereker.¹ He married Yvonne Frances Barnett, daughter of Major Geoffrey Arthur Barnett, on 21 April 1938.¹ He died on 26 February 1941 at age 29, without issue.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)²

     Yvonne Frances Barnett is the daughter of Major Geoffrey Arthur Barnett.¹ She married Hon. Charles Standish Vereker, son of Field Marshal John Standish Surtees Prendergast Vereker, 6th Viscount Gort, V.C. and Corinna Katherine Vereker, on 21 April 1938.¹
     From 21 April 1938, her married name became Vereker.¹
