     Sir William Livingston of Kilsyth was baptised on 27 June 1609.2 He was the son of Sir William Livingston of Darchester and Lady Anna Fleming.2 He married Margaret Ramsay, daughter of Sir George Ramsay, 1st Lord Ramsay of Dalhousie and Margaret Douglas, on 16 December 1626.1 He died on 13 June 1633 at age 23.2

     Jocosa Apsley was the daughter of Allen Apsley.1 She married, firstly, Lister Blount, son of Sir Richard Blount.1 She married, secondly, William Ramsay, 1st Earl of Dalhousie, son of Sir George Ramsay, 1st Lord Ramsay of Dalhousie and Margaret Douglas, after April 1661.1 She died on 28 April 1663.1
     Her married name became Blount.1 After her marriage, Jocosa Apsley was styled as Countess of Dalhousie after April 1661. From after April 1661, her married name became Ramsay.1
