     Caroline Ellen Alice Boutell was the daughter of Reverend Charles Boutell and Mary Chevallier.¹ She married Nathaniel Fromanteel Cobbold, son of John Chevallier Cobbold and Lucy Patterson, in October 1881.¹ She died in 1882.¹
     From October 1881, her married name became Cobbold.¹

     Sarah Ann Auchincloss was the daughter of John Auchincloss.² She married Sir James Coats, 1st Bt., son of Sir Peter Coats and Gloranna McKenzie, on 15 October 1857.¹ She died on 8 June 1887.¹
     From 15 October 1857, her married name became Coats.

     Sir Stuart Auchincloss Coats, 2nd Bt. was born on 20 March 1868.¹ He was the son of Sir James Coats, 1st Bt. and Sarah Ann Auchincloss.² He married Jane Muir Greenlees, daughter of Thomas Greenlees, on 8 September 1891.¹ He died on 15 July 1959 at age 91.¹
     He was awarded the Knight Commander, Order of St. Gregory the Great.¹ He was Private Chamberlain of Sword and Cape to Popes Pius X, XI and XII, and Pope Benedict XV.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Coats, of Auchendrane, Ayrshire [U.K., 1905] on 20 January 1913.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wimbledon between 1916 and 1918.¹ He was awarded the Commander, Order of the Crown of Italy.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for East Surrey between 1918 and 1922.¹

     Alfred Mainwaring Coats was born on 12 April 1869.¹ He was the son of Sir James Coats, 1st Bt. and Sarah Ann Auchincloss.² He married Elizabeth Barnewall, daughter of Morris Barnewall, on 5 September 1895.¹ He died in 1942.¹

     Morris Barnewall lived at Flushing, Queens, New York City, New York, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Elizabeth Barnewall was the daughter of Morris Barnewall.² She married Alfred Mainwaring Coats, son of Sir James Coats, 1st Bt. and Sarah Ann Auchincloss, on 5 September 1895.¹ She died in 1940.¹
     From 5 September 1895, her married name became Coats.

     Lieutenant Archibald Coats was born on 20 August 1896.¹ He was the son of Alfred Mainwaring Coats and Elizabeth Barnewall.² He died in 1918, on active service.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.¹

     Mabel Coats is the daughter of Alfred Mainwaring Coats and Elizabeth Barnewall.² She married B. William MacColl.¹
     Her married name became MacColl.¹
