Frances Henrietta Law, daughter of Edward Law, 1st Baron Ellenborough and Anne Towry, on 8 March 1832.¹ He died on 9 August 1833 at age 31 at Brussels, Belgium^G.¹

     Hon. Michael David Sieff was born on 12 March 1911.¹ He was the son of Israel Moses Sieff, Baron Sieff and Rebecca Doro Marks.¹ He married, firstly, Daphne Madge Kerin Michael, daughter of Cyril Aaron Michael, in 1932.¹ He and Daphne Madge Kerin Michael were divorced in 1975.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Pitt, daughter of William Norman Pitt, in 1975.¹ He died on 23 April 1987 at age 76 at Virginia Water, Surrey, England.^1,2
     He was educated at Manchester Grammar School, Manchester, Lancashire, England^G.¹ He was with Marks & Spencer between 1929 and 1976.¹ He fought in the Second World War in 1939.³ He gained the rank of Colonel in 1944 in the Royal Army Ordnance Corps.¹ He was director of Marks & Spencer between 1950 and 1979.¹ He was assistant managing director of Marks & Spencer between 1965 and 1971.¹ He was joint managing director of Marks & Spencer between 1971 and 1976.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1975.¹

     Elizabeth Pitt is the daughter of William Norman Pitt.¹ She married, firstly, Hon. Michael David Sieff, son of Israel Moses Sieff, Baron Sieff and Rebecca Doro Marks, in 1975.¹ She married, secondly, Robert Haslam, Baron Haslam, son of Percy Haslam and Mary Alice Bentley, on 20 July 1996.¹
     From 1975, her married name became Sieff.¹ After her marriage, Elizabeth Pitt was styled as Baroness Haslam on 20 July 1996. From 20 July 1996, her married name became Haslam.¹

     William Norman Pitt lived at Hampton, London, England^G.²

     From 17 February 1575/76, her married name became Oliphant.¹ From circa 14 December 1585, her married name became Home.¹ After her marriage, Lady Christian Douglas was styled as Countess of Home on 4 March 1605.
