Major Philip Pinckney Curtis1 
Major Philip Pinckney Curtis also went by the nick-name of Toby.2 He gained the rank of Major in the 99th (Bucks and Berkshire Yeomanry) Brigade, Royal Field Artillery.2 He gained the rank of Major in the 15th The King’s Hussars.2 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1919, where he was mentioned in despatches three times.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1916.2
