     Lachlan Macpherson, of Cluny Macpherson and Nuide, 11th Chief was born on 25 October 1674.2 He was the son of William Macpherson, 3rd of Nuide and Isabel Mackintosh.2 He married Jean Cameron, daughter of Sir Ewen Cameron of Lochiel, 17th Chief of Clan Cameron and Jean Barclay, on 2 January 1704.2 He died in 1746.2
     He held the position of 11th Chief of the Clan Macpherson of Cluny from.1
