     William Mackintosh, 13th of Mackintosh was the son of Lachlan Mackintosh of Gellovie and Catherine Grant.² He married Isabel Macnevan, daughter of unknown Macnevan.² He died on 22 May 1515 at Inverness, Inverness-shire, Scotland^G, murdered in bed by John, his 2nd cousin, without legitimate issue.²
     He was Captain of the Clan during Ferquhard’s long captivity and repelled the Clan Cameron and Clan MacGregor, but the Clan was unable finally to quell the Cameron insurrection until 1506 in 1497.² In 1502 he succeeded to Gallovie and obtained the Barony of Dunachton from Alexander, 3rd Earl of Huntly on his marriage.² He held the position of 13th Chief of the Clan Mackintosh from in 1514.² He held the position of 14th Chief of the Clan Chattan from in 1514.¹

     Marjorie Mackintosh is the daughter of Duncan Mackintosh, 11th of Mackintosh and Florence Macdonald.² She married Ewen Cameron of Lochiel, 13th Chief of Clan Cameron, son of Allan MacIldny Cameron, 12th Chief of Clan Cameron and Marion Macdonald.¹
     Her married name became Cameron.¹

     Ewen Cameron was the son of Ewen Cameron of Lochiel, 13th Chief of Clan Cameron and Marjorie Mackintosh.² He died, murdered.¹
     He was ancestor of the Camerons of Erracht.¹ He was tutor of Lochiel and guardian for his half-nephew or great-nephew.¹

     Lionel E. Birch was born circa 1859 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of John William Birch and Julia Arden.¹

     unknown daughter Stewart is the daughter of John Stewart, 4th of Appin and unknown daughter Macdonald.^1,2 She married Allan Cameron of Lochiel, 16th Chief of Clan Cameron, son of John Cameron and unknown daughter Mackintosh.¹

     John Cameron is the son of Allan Cameron of Lochiel, 16th Chief of Clan Cameron and unknown daughter Stewart.² He married Margaret Campbell, daughter of Sir Robert Campbell of Glenorchy, 3rd Bt. and Isabel Macintosh, before October 1626.¹

     Reverend Augustus Frederick Birch was born in 1827 at Southwold, Suffolk, England^G.¹ He was the son of Reverend Henry William Rouse Birch and Lydia Mildred.¹ He was baptised on 22 March 1827 at Yoxford, Suffolk, England^G.¹ He married Isabella Ann Corrance, daughter of Frederick Snowden Corrance.¹ He died on 20 July 1898 at Northchurch, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     Margaret Campbell was born circa 1609 at Glenorchy, Argyllshire, Scotland.² She is the daughter of Sir Robert Campbell of Glenorchy, 3rd Bt. and Isabel Macintosh.^3,2 She married John Cameron, son of Allan Cameron of Lochiel, 16th Chief of Clan Cameron and unknown daughter Stewart, before October 1626.¹
     From before October 1626, her married name became Cameron.¹

     Sir Ewen Cameron of Lochiel, 17th Chief of Clan Cameron was born in February 1629.¹ He was the son of John Cameron and Margaret Campbell.² He married, firstly, Mary Macdonald, daughter of Sir Donald Macdonald, 8th of Sleat, 1st Bt. and Janet Mackenzie.¹ He married, secondly, Isabel Maclean, daughter of Sir Lachlan Maclean of Morvern, 1st Bt. and Mary Macleod, in 1657.^1,3 He married, thirdly, Jean Barclay, daughter of David Barclay, 1st of Urie and Katharine Gordon, on 2 January 1685 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.^1,4 He died in 1719.¹
     He fought in the English Civil War, as a Royalist.¹ He held the position of 17th Chief of the Clan Cameron from circa 1647.¹ In 1658 while fighting against a detachment of English troops under General Monck at Achdalieu on the shores of Loch Eil, he killed one of them by biting his throat out.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1681.¹ He fought in the Battle of Killiecrankie on 27 July 1689, he fought for the Jacobite Viscount Dundee at his victory over King William III’s troops.¹ He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.⁵
