William Sinclair, 2nd Earl of Caithness1

On 7 December 1476 he obtained a Crown charter of the whole lands of the Earldom ‘to him and his heirs whatsoever.2‘ He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Caithness [S., 1455] circa 1480.1 He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513.
