     Jean Blair is the daughter of John Blair of that Ilk and Grizel Sempill.^1,2 She married, firstly, Alexander Cunningham of Mountgreen, son of Alexander Cuninghame, 5th Earl of Glencairn and Janet Cuninghame, in 1582.^1,3 She married, secondly, John Stewart of Ardmaleish, son of Sir James Stewart of Ardmaleish and Marion Fairlie, circa 15 September 1595.¹
     From 1582, her married name became Cunningham.¹ From circa 15 September 1595, her married name became Stewart.¹

     Sir John Stuart of Ardmaleish was the son of John Stewart of Ardmaleish and Mary Campbell.¹ He married Elizabeth Hepburn, daughter of Robert Hepburn of Fuird.¹ He died on 31 March 1619.¹
     He held the office of Sheriff of Bute.¹ He acquired Fuird and several other lands in Haddington through his wife.¹ He was also known as Sir John Stewart.²

     Sir Thomas Longe was born in 1451 at Wiltshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of John Longe and Margaret Wayte.¹ He married Margery Darrell, daughter of Sir George Darrell and Margaret Stourton.¹ He died in 1508 at Draycot, Wiltshire, England^G.¹ He was buried in 1508 at St. James Church, Draycot, Wiltshire, England^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) on 21 October 1508.¹
     He succeeded to the Draycot and Wraxall estates from his father.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Wiltshire.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1501.¹

     Sir Alexander Foulis of Colinton, 1st Bt. was the son of Sir James Foulis of Colinton and Barbara Lauder.² He and Elizabeth Hepburn obtained a marriage license on 30 March 1619.¹ He died circa 1672.¹
     He was created 1st Baronet Foulis, of Colinton [Nova Scotia] on 7 June 1634, with special remainder to his heirs male whatsoever.¹

     Elizabeth Hepburn is the daughter of Robert Hepburn of Fuird.¹ She married, firstly, Sir John Stuart of Ardmaleish, son of John Stewart of Ardmaleish and Mary Campbell.¹ She and Sir Alexander Foulis of Colinton, 1st Bt. obtained a marriage license on 30 March 1619.²
     Her married name became Stewart.² Her married name became Stuart.¹ From 30 March 1619, her married name became Foulis.

     Sir James Stuart of Ardmaleish, 1st Bt. was the son of Sir John Stuart of Ardmaleish and Elizabeth Hepburn.¹ He married Grizel Campbell, daughter of Sir Dugald Campbell of Auchinbreck, 1st Bt. and Isabella Boyd.¹ He died in 1662.¹
     He held the office of Sheriff of Bute.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Stuart, of Bute [Nova Scotia] on 28 March 1627.¹ He was a Royalist during the Civil War.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bute [Scotland] in 1644/45.¹

     Sir Dugald Campbell of Auchinbreck, 1st Bt. was born circa 1570.² He was the son of Duncan Campbell and Mary Macleod.³ He married, secondly, Mary Erskine, daughter of Hon. Sir Alexander Erskine of Gogar and Margaret Home.¹ He married, thirdly, Isabella Boyd, daughter of unknown Boyd.¹ He married by contract, firstly, Catherine Scrimgeour, daughter of Sir James Scrimgeour of Glassarie, on 23 April 1590.¹ He died in 1641.¹
     Circa 26 January 1599 he succeeded to Auchinbreck.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1617.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Campbell, of Auchinbreck [Nova Scotia] from 12 January 1627/28 to 24 January 1627/28.¹

     Grizel Campbell is the daughter of Sir Dugald Campbell of Auchinbreck, 1st Bt. and Isabella Boyd.^1,2 She married Sir James Stuart of Ardmaleish, 1st Bt., son of Sir John Stuart of Ardmaleish and Elizabeth Hepburn.¹
     Her married name became Stuart.¹

     John Longe was born before 1435.

     Sir Robert Stuart of Tillicoultry, 1st Bt. was born circa 1655.¹ He was the son of Sir James Stuart of Ardmaleish, 1st Bt. and Grizel Campbell.¹ He married Violet Hamilton, daughter of Archibald Hamilton of Rosehall, on 20 October 1685.¹ He married, secondly, Cecil Hamilton, daughter of Sir Robert Hamilton, Lord Pressmennan and Marion Denholm, on 25 August 1693.¹ He died on 1 October 1710.¹
     He was a practising advocate in 1681.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Rothesay [Scotland] between 1689 and 1693.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dingwell [Scotland] between 1698 and 1702.¹ He held the office of Sheriff Principal of Clackmannanshire.¹ He was styled as Lord Tillicoultry [Scottish Law Lord] in 1701.¹ He held the office of Lord of Session [Scotland] between 1701 and 1709.¹ He was a Commissioner for the Union of Scotland and England.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bute [Scotland] between 1702 and 1707.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Stuart, of Tillicoultry, co. Clackmannanshire [Nova Scotia] on 29 April 1707.¹
