John Yarburgh Cunliffe-Lister and Anne Irvine Medlicott.3 He married Susan Lilian Primrose Sinclair, Baroness Masham of Ilton, daughter of Sir Ronald Norman John Charles Udny Sinclair of Dunbeath, 8th Bt. and Reba Blair Inglis, on 8 December 1959.1 He died on 26 March 2006 at age 69.4
He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He was admitted to Captain, Yeoman of the Guard.1 He was educated at Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England.1 He held the office of Member of North Riding Yorkshire County Council between 1961 and 1974.1 He became Lady Clare Caroline Cunliffe-Lister‘s adoptive father in November 1965.1 He became an unknown person ‘s adoptive father in November 1967.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for North Yorkshire in 1971.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Masham, of Ellington, co.
