     He held the office of Lord Justice of Appeal.1 He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England.2 He was educated at Lincoln College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He was appointed Knight in 1985.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1992.2

Hon. Sir Swinton Barclay Thomas, son of Brigadier William Barclay Thomas, on 12 August 1967 at Kensington, London, England.1,2
     From 8 November 1956, her married name became Cope.1 From 12 August 1967, her married name became Thomas.1

     Sir Anthony Mohun Leckonby Cope, 15th Bt. was born on 15 July 1927.3 He was the son of Sir Denzil Cope, 14th Bt. and Edna Frances Hilton.3 He married Angela Rose Elizabeth Wright, daughter of James Alfred Snarey Wright, on 8 November 1956.1,3 He died on 13 May 1966 at age 38.3
     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England.3 He succeeded as the 15th Baronet Cope, of Hanwell, co. Oxford [E., 1611] on 3 June 1940.3 He gained the rank of officer between 1945 and 1948 in the Rifle Brigade.3 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.3
