     Lieutenant Richard Walmesley was born on 21 November 1890 at 14 Norfolk Square, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of John Walmesley and Violet Louisa Haworth-Booth.¹ He died on 23 October 1914 at age 23, killed in action.¹
