     He was educated at Alloa Academy, Alloa, Clackmannanshire, Scotland^G.² He was chief executive of the Leicestershire Co-operative Society between 1975 and 1995.² He was chief executive of the Midlands Co-operative Society between 1995 and 2000.² He was created Baron Fyfe of Fairfield, of Sauchie in Clackmannanshire [U.K. Life Peer] on 16 May 2000.¹

     Anna Dora Creditor, Baroness Gaitskell was born on 25 April 1901 at Riga, Latvia^G.³ She was the daughter of Leon Creditor and Tessa Jaffé.³ She married, firstly, Isaac Frost, son of Louis Frost, on 15 March 1921 at Marylebone, London, England^G.⁴ She and Isaac Frost were divorced in 1937.³ She married, secondly, Rt. Hon. Hugh Todd Naylor Gaitskell, son of Arthur Gaitskell and Adelaide Mary Jamieson, in 1937 at Hampstead, London, England^G.³ She died on 1 July 1989 at age 88.¹
     She emigrated with her parents to England arriving on circa 1904.³ From 15 March 1921, her married name became Frost.⁴ From 1937, her married name became Gaitskell.¹ She was created Baroness Gaitskell, of Egremont in the County of Cumberland [U.K. Life Peer] on 23 January 1964.¹

     Anita Gale, Baroness Gale was born on 28 November 1940.² She is the daughter of Arthur Gale and Lillian Maud (?)² She married an unknown person in 1959.² She and an unknown person were divorced in 1983.²
     She was educated at Pontypridd Technical College, Pontypridd, Glamorgan, Wales^G.² She graduated from University College, Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales^G, with a Bachelor of Science, Economics (B.Sc.)² She was Women’s Officer and Assistant organiser, Wales Labour Party between 1976 and 1984.² She was General Secretary of the Wales Labour Party between 1984 and 1999.² She was created Baroness Gale, of Blaenrhondda in the County of Mid Glamorgan [U.K. Life Peer] on 4 August 1999.¹ She has two daughters.²

     John Gallacher, Baron Gallacher was born on 7 May 1920.² He was the son of William Gallacher.² He married Freda Vivian Chittenden, daughter of Alfred Chittenden, in 1947.² He died on 4 January 2004 at age 83.¹

     Rachel Trixie Anne McGirr, Baroness Gardner of Parkes was born on 17 July 1927.³ She was the daughter of Hon. John Joseph Gregory McGirr and Rachel Miller.³ She married Kevin Anthony Gardner, son of George Gardner, in 1956.³ She died on 14 April 2024 at age 96.⁴

     William Armand Thomas Tristan Garel-Jones, Baron Garel-Jones was born on 28 February 1941.² He was the son of Bernard Garel-Jones and Meriel Williams.² He married Catalina Garrigues, daughter of Mariano Garrigues Díaz-Cañabate, in 1966.² He died on 23 March 2020 at age 79.³
