     Captain Jonathan Cecil Appleyard-List was born on 31 July 1935.¹ He was the son of Cecil Rhodes List and Muriel Appleyard.^1,2 He married Hon. Caroline Elizabeth Arbuthnot, daughter of David George Arbuthnot and Dorothy Elizabeth Kemeys-Tynte, Baroness Wharton, on 10 October 1970.¹ He died on 9 August 2008 at age 73.³
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹

     She was educated at Tormead School, Guildford, Surrey, England^G.¹ She was educated at Godolphin and Latymer School for Girls, London, England^G.¹ She graduated from Bristol University, Bristol, England^G, in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ From 8 May 2004, her married name became Appleyard-Ley.¹

     Sven Ley was born in 1975.^2,3 He is the son of Wolfgang Ley and Margaretha Hornell.¹ He married Zoe Sofia Appleyard, daughter of Captain Jonathan Cecil Appleyard-List and Hon. Caroline Elizabeth Arbuthnot, on 8 May 2004 at Salzburg Cathedral, Salzburg, Austria^G.¹

     Wolfgang Ley married Margaretha Hornell.
     He was chairman of Escada, a fashion range.¹

     Her married name became Ley.²

     Anthony Holman married Hon. Elizabeth Marjorie Plumb, daughter of Charles Henry Plumb, Baron Plumb and Marjorie Dorothy Dunn, after 1982.¹

     Harriet Sophie Currie was the daughter of Sir Frederick Currie, 1st Bt. and Katherine Maria Thompson.² She married Colonel Sir John Underwood Bateman-Champain, son of Colonel Agnew Champain, on 2 September 1865.³ She died on 14 August 1905.³
     From 2 September 1865, her married name became Bateman-Champain.

     Audrey Rosaline Bateman-Champain was born on 5 September 1914 at Simla, India^G.¹ She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Hugh Frederick Bateman-Champain and Dorothy Gertrude Arbuthnot.¹ She married Alfred Basil Brailsford Woodburn on 22 June 1937.¹ She died on 4 May 1980 at age 65 at South Africa^G, murdered.¹
     From 22 June 1937, her married name became Woodburn.¹
