Sir Roger Burgoyne, 6th Bt.1 
He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Burgoyne, of Sutton, co. Bedford [E., 1641] circa 1717.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bedfordshire between 1734 and 1747.1 His last will was dated 19 February 1755.

Lady Frances Montagu was the daughter of George Montague, 1st Earl of Halifax and Lady Mary Lumley.1 She married Sir Roger Burgoyne, 6th Bt., son of Sir Roger Burgoyne, 4th Bt. and Constance Middleton, in January 1738/39.1 She died on 24 July 1788 at Harley Street, London, EnglandG.1 She died intestate and her estate was administered on 5 August 1788.1
From January 1738/39, her married name became Burgoyne.1

He gained the rank of Colonel in the 58th Foot.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 19th Light Dragoons.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Burgoyne, of Sutton, co. Bedford [E., 1641] on 31 December 1780.1 He lived at Sutton Park, Bedfordshire, England.2 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.3
