     Reverend James Trench was the son of Frederic de la Trenche and Margaret Sutton.¹ He married Margaret Montgomery, daughter of Hugh Montgomery, 1st Viscount Montgomery of the Great Ardes, in 1605.¹ He died on 13 March 1631.¹
     He bought land in County Cavan.¹ He was the Rector at Clongell, County Meath, Ireland^G.¹
     He had six other children.²

     Frederic Trench was born in 1633.¹ He was the son of Frederic Trench and Anna Trench.¹ He married Elizabeth Warburton, daughter of Richard Warburton and Anne L’Estrange.¹ He died in November 1704.^1,2
     In 1690 he bought more land from the Commissioners for the Sale of Forfeited Estates.¹ He lived at Garbally, County Galway, Ireland^G.¹

     Elizabeth Warburton was the daughter of Richard Warburton and Anne L’Estrange.¹ She married Frederic Trench, son of Frederic Trench and Anna Trench.²
     Her married name became Trench.²

     Richard Warburton was born in 1636.² He married Anne L’Estrange, daughter of Henry L’Estrange.² He died in February 1717.²
     He was Assistant Clerk of the Irish Privy Council between 1661 and 1666.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ballyshannon [Ireland] between 1677 and 1679.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ballyshannon [Ireland] between 1703 and 1713.² He lived at Garryhinch, County Laois, Ireland^G.¹

     Richard Trench was born in 1710.¹ He was the son of Frederick Richard Trench and Elizabeth Eyre.¹ He married Frances Power, daughter of David Power and Elizabeth Keating, on 13 March 1732.¹ He died in 1768. He was buried at Ballinasloe, Ireland^G.²
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Militia Dragoons of County Galway.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for County Galway [Ireland] in 1761.¹ He lived at Garbally, County Galway, Ireland^G.⁴

     Frances Power was born in 1716.² She was the daughter of David Power and Elizabeth Keating.¹ She married Richard Trench, son of Frederick Richard Trench and Elizabeth Eyre, on 13 March 1732.¹ She died in 1793.³ She was buried at Ballinasloe, Ireland^G.³
     Her married name became Trench.

     Frederick Richard Trench was born in 1681.² He was the son of Frederic Trench and Elizabeth Warburton.² He married Elizabeth Eyre, daughter of John Eyre and Margery Preston, on 7 September 1703.^2,3 He died in 1752.²
     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Galway in 1703.³ He gained the rank of Colonel in 1715 in the Galway Militia.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Galway [Ireland] between 1715 and 1752.^2,3 He lived at Garbally, County Galway, Ireland^G.²

     Elizabeth Eyre was the daughter of John Eyre and Margery Preston.^1,2 She married Frederick Richard Trench, son of Frederic Trench and Elizabeth Warburton, on 7 September 1703.^1,3
     From 7 September 1703, her married name became Trench.
