Colonel Sir John Montagu Burgoyne, 9th Bt. 
He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Burgoyne, of Sutton, co. Bedford [E., 1641] on 11 November 1817.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Bedfordshire in 1820, but did not act.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1846 in the Grenadier Guards.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Bedfordshire in 1852.1
