     Catherine Burton was born on 25 February 1773 at Bramley Hall, Harasworth, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of John Burton.¹ She married Maj.-Gen. Sir Montagu Roger Burgoyne, 8th Bt., son of Lt.-Gen. Sir John Burgoyne, 7th Bt. and Charlotte Frances Johnstone, on 1 November 1794.¹ She died on 1 May 1855 at age 82 at Eaton Square, London, England^G.¹ Her will was proven (by probate) in June 1855.¹
     From 1 November 1794, her married name became Burgoyne.¹

     John Burton lived at High House, Sheffield, Yorkshire, West Riding, England^G.¹ He lived at Bramley Hall, Harasworth, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Sir John Montagu Burgoyne, 10th Bt. was born on 23 October 1832 at London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Colonel Sir John Montagu Burgoyne, 9th Bt. and Mary Harriet Gore-Langton.¹ He married, firstly, Amy Henrietta Smith, daughter of Captain Henry Nealson Smith, on 10 November 1858.¹ He married, secondly, Katherine Louisa Gretton, daughter of John Gretton and Marianne Louisa Molineux, on 8 October 1903.² He died on 19 March 1921 at age 88.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was commissioned in 1850.¹ He fought in the Battle of Alma.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Burgoyne, of Sutton, co. Bedford [E., 1641] on 17 March 1858.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1860 in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He retired from the military in 1871.¹

     Amy Henrietta Smith was born on 17 July 1831.² She was the daughter of Captain Henry Nealson Smith.¹ She married Sir John Montagu Burgoyne, 10th Bt., son of Colonel Sir John Montagu Burgoyne, 9th Bt. and Mary Harriet Gore-Langton, on 10 November 1858.¹ She died on 12 October 1895 at age 64 at Cowes, Isle of Wight, England^G.¹
     From 10 November 1858, her married name became Burgoyne.¹

     Captain Henry Nealson Smith gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Engineers.¹

     Sir John Wilson was appointed Knight, Hanoverian Order (K.H.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Gerard Martin Berkely Napier was born in 1792.¹ He was the son of Edward Berkeley Napier and Sarah Martin.¹ He married Mary Paul.² He died in 1820.¹
     He lived at Pennard House, Somerset, England.²

     Mary Paul married, firstly, Gerard Martin Berkely Napier, son of Edward Berkeley Napier and Sarah Martin.² She married, secondly, Sir John Dean Paul, 1st Bt., son of John Paul and Frances Snow, on 28 September 1835.²
     Her married name became Napier.¹

     Edward Berkeley Napier was born in 1759.¹ He was the son of Andrew Napier and Laititia Berkeley.¹ He married Sarah Martin, daughter of Gerard Martin, in 1790. He died in 1798.¹

     Sarah Martin is the daughter of Gerard Martin.¹ She married Edward Berkeley Napier, son of Andrew Napier and Laititia Berkeley, in 1790.
     From 1790, her married name became Napier.¹
