     Caroline Alice Martha Grimble was the daughter of William Grimble.¹ She married William Macnaghten Erskine, 5th Baron Erskine of Restormel Castle, son of John Cadwallader Erskine, 4th Baron Erskine of Restormel Castle and Margaret Martyn, on 2 July 1864 at St. Nicholas’s Church, Brighton, Sussex, England^G.² She died on 2 March 1922.¹
     From 2 July 1864, her married name became Erskine. After her marriage, Caroline Alice Martha Grimble was styled as Baroness Erskine of Restormel Castle on 28 March 1882.

     Montagu Erskine, 6th Baron Erskine of Restormel Castle was born on 13 April 1865 at Portland Place, Marylebone, London, England^G.² He was the son of William Macnaghten Erskine, 5th Baron Erskine of Restormel Castle and Caroline Alice Martha Grimble.¹ He married Florence Flower, daughter of Edgar Flower and Isabella Sophia Dennis, on 16 January 1895 at Holy Trinity Church, Stratford-on-Avon, Warwickshire, England^G.² He died on 9 February 1957 at age 91.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baron Erskine of Restormel Castle, co. Cornwall [U.K., 1806] on 8 December 1913.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹

     Florence Flower was born on 31 July 1869 at Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England^G.² She was the daughter of Edgar Flower and Isabella Sophia Dennis.^1,3 She married Montagu Erskine, 6th Baron Erskine of Restormel Castle, son of William Macnaghten Erskine, 5th Baron Erskine of Restormel Castle and Caroline Alice Martha Grimble, on 16 January 1895 at Holy Trinity Church, Stratford-on-Avon, Warwickshire, England^G.³ She died on 3 December 1936 at age 67.¹
     From 16 January 1895, her married name became Erskine. After her marriage, Florence Flower was styled as Baroness Erskine of Restormel Castle on 8 December 1913.

     Lt.-Col. Donald Cardross Flower Erskine, 16th Earl of Buchan was born on 3 June 1899.³ He was the son of Montagu Erskine, 6th Baron Erskine of Restormel Castle and Florence Flower.¹ He married Christina Baxendale, daughter of Hugh Woolner, on 5 January 1927.³ He died on 26 July 1984 at age 85.⁴
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.³ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.³ He fought in the Second World War.³ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 9th Lancers.³ He succeeded as the 7th Baron Erskine of Restormel Castle, co. Cornwall [U.K., 1806] on 9 February 1957.³ He succeeded as the 16th Lord Auchterhouse [S., 1469] on 18 December 1960.³ He succeeded as the 16th Earl of Buchan [S., 1469] on 18 December 1960.³ He succeeded as the 11th Lord Cardross [S., 1610] on 18 December 1960.³

     Hon. Richard Alastair Erskine was born on 8 January 1901.¹ He was the son of Montagu Erskine, 6th Baron Erskine of Restormel Castle and Florence Flower.¹ He married Patricia Norbury, daughter of Major Paul FitzGerald Norbury, on 20 October 1933.¹ He died in 1987.¹
     Hon. Richard Alastair Erskine usually went by his middle name of Alastair.¹ He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.¹ He adopted Melanie Erskine.² He lived at Reynolds House, Bordon, Hampshire, England.²

     Major Paul FitzGerald Norbury was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He lived at The Lench House, Stratford-on-Avon, Warwickshire, England^G.¹

     Patricia Norbury was the daughter of Major Paul FitzGerald Norbury.¹ She married Hon. Richard Alastair Erskine, son of Montagu Erskine, 6th Baron Erskine of Restormel Castle and Florence Flower, on 20 October 1933.¹ She died in 1989.¹
     From 20 October 1933, her married name became Erskine. She adopted Melanie Erskine.³

     Duncan FitzGerald Erskine was born on 20 May 1936.¹ He is the son of Hon. Richard Alastair Erskine and Patricia Norbury.¹ He married, firstly, Jillian Lavinia Mary Budge, daughter of Brigadier Vincent Alexander Prideaux Budge and Pamela Stokes, on 3 December 1964.¹ He and Jillian Lavinia Mary Budge were divorced in 1984.¹ He married, secondly, Susan Buckholt, daughter of Major Leslie Frederick Buckholt, in 1986.¹
     He was educated at Malvern College, Malvern, Worcestershire, England^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at Little Cheesecombe, Hawkley, Liss, Hampshire, England^G.¹
