     He was created 1st Baronet Power, of Newlands Manor, Parish of Milford, co. Southampton [U.K.] on 1 February 1924.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Wimbledon between October 1924 and June 1945.¹

     Mabel Katherine Louisa Perks was the daughter of John Hartley Perks.² She married Sir John Cecil Power, 1st Bt., son of William Taylor Power and Cecilia Burgoyne, on 14 October 1902.¹ She died on 31 March 1945.¹
     From 14 October 1902, her married name became Power.¹

     David George Cecil Power was born on 21 September 1941.¹ He is the son of George Frederick Cecil McLannahan Power and Joy Mervyn Noott.² He married Jennifer Anne Thompson, daughter of Commander unknown Thompson, in 1968.¹
