     Sir Samuel Garrard, 4th Bt. was born in 1650.1 He was the son of Sir John Garrard, 2nd Bt. and Jane Lambard.1 He married Elizabeth Poyner on 16 October 1675.1 He married Jane Bennett, daughter of Thomas Bennett, on 22 January 1688/89.1 He died on 10 March 1724.1
     He gained the title of 4th Baronet Garrard. He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Hertfordshire.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Amersham in 1702.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Amersham from 1707 to 1708.1 He held the office of Lord Mayor of London from 1708 to 1710.1
